Description

Ureteroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to examine and treat problems in the ureters—the thin tubes that carry urine from the kidneys to the bladder. It involves the use of a ureteroscope, a thin, flexible or rigid tube equipped with a light and camera, which is inserted through the urethra and bladder into the ureter.
